If you go to the main site, it opens happily enough.
Look at stories from 2001, and you get a main page listing all the stories. Click on a story, and you get the story. This is all just as you'd expect.
Pick a different year and it's a different story. The main page listing the stories is there, but when you click on a title, you get this:

Occasionally, someone emails me out of the blue to ask for them. I assume they contact me because they can, via MTYG, for which I was a mod. I never had anything to do with the DWNOGA site beyond writing stories in 2005 and 2006. I have tried contacting the DWNOGA mods, but Eponymous has been out of reach for years, and apetslife sent me what was probably the final message from her LJ account and has now deleted it. I don't know who she is on DW, but I don't think she can help.
I don't think there is any way to get from the error message above to the stories. And as someone with no site access, I can't help.
Might it be possible to access the site as it looked in 2006? I've never used the Wayback Machine, so a bit of guidance would be welcome?
