A long day.

A few days ago, my Bun had shoulder-length, thick, English-mouse-brown hair.

... not so much. Doesn't she have an aristocratic nose!
It has been a long day today. We had to pack about a million boxes/bags/luggages into the nine-seater minibus we hired for today. We left the village no more than an hour later than we'd sorta planned... fortunately the journey took two hours instead of two and a half, so we got to the university just after noon. Acquired a helpful student guide who not only showed us where the brats are to live, but also helped unload a million luggages into their rooms. Perhaps it is unsurprising that it took quite a lot of the afternoon for them to get their Copious Stuff sorted out.
Bun was quite gleeful and eager to make the acquaintances of her new flat-mates. Boy was very worried, possibly to the point of being scared. My BABY. *wimpers* He has a list of tasks for the next few days, and once he knows his way around and has met his Mentor and got a bit more self-confidence about his surroundings, perhaps he'll feel a little bit better. Hope so. I suspect he will console himself this evening with computer games, which will make him feel more at home.
It was dark by the time I'd driven the biggish vehicle back home. Then I had "Iolanthe" stuff to worry about - we completed the auditions, and, miraculously, our cast, on Tuesday evening - and tomorrow there are more tasks and an abs class after almost a week of No Gym. Moan.
I'd kinda like a day when I could curl up with a cat and a duvet and do nothing, but it'll have to wait.

There's a smallness-of-the-Pop-world joke in there, somewhere... (something about
And driving a minibus must be old hat for you by now, Pen! I'm wishing Bun & your boy luck at school and you luck in the gym and finding a Nothing But The Cat Day soon, and wishing your cast to break a leg, heh.
