definitely interesting - he has his moments, but the idea that he's texting with Joey and Chris makes me smile.

I'm slightly surprised that he still keeps his distance to the nsync part of his past, but the MMC stuff he is okay with. Come on Justin, you're successful enough to own it all.

The interviewer is trying to get an edgy interview (as always), and Justin does his best to sound cool, and to me it feels like they're both trying too hard. It ends up sounding like any other interview, and both of them come across as slightly douchey.

I like basketball and golf and snowboarding, and I do them pretty fucking intensely. I'd really like someone to explain to me how you can golf pretty fucking intensely. I mean, it's golf.

Music is not my focus right now. It may be someday. It could happen next month or next year, but right now it’s not where it’s at for me.
That sounds quite a bit like what JC said in a recent interview. He popped up on stage 3 days ago, so who knows. One can hope? Looks like an *Nsync reunion is definitely out of the question though.

I probably talk to Joey [Fatone] and Chris [Kirk­patrick] more than J.C. [Chasez] and Lance [Bass]. I’d say I text back and forth with Joey once a month.

I'm all depressed now. I hate to say it, but I think this is why my popslash muse died. There's no chemistry between the guys anymore.

And as an aside, I think the criticism about Britney's dancing is fair. Madonna was 49 when this video was shot. J Lo is 41 and still moves like this. Both have had 2 kids.

That's an amazing interview. He so fucking smart it's scary.

I'd love for him to make more music, just as I'd love for JC to, but I can completely understand why they wouldn't want to.

I love his defense of Britney, I love his insights about life and experience and talent and careers and just everything.

He's pretty damn awesome.

Well, Britney also did serious damage to her knee, which I think is a bigger factor. Though Madonna or J-Lo may also have injured themselves at some point, I have no idea.

He is smart, and likeable, and pretty sensible too. Though I do feel a bit wistful about the way he still wants to disown things he did during Nsync, eg the clothes - I like JC's attitude better, because he *owns* it.

Golf is really boring if you don't play, but it does have an insidious intensifier factor if you do - and Timberlake is pretty good at it, with a handicap of about 6. I'm not surprised he's an addict.

It makes me sad, too, that Justin doesn't talk much to the others - particularly JC, somehow. The once upon a time "we're like brothers" thing that some of them used to say doesn't seem to be there any more.

Oh, my God, I used to work with intense golfers. They talked about it endlessly, like some people talk about their kids. They would spend a whole day golfing in the pouring rain, and really enjoy it.

I was thinking about that, and you know, I bet I speak to my sister less than once a month, on average.

*perks up* Actually, that is true. My brother is particularly awful at keeping in touch, so I really don't have a lot of contact with him. (Wait, I think that means I am also awful at keeping in touch, which is true.)

Very true, my brother now that he is married rarely calls or visits me and he only lives twenty minute drive away. I usually only see him during the holidays now
