pensnestWent up for Bun's graduation ceremony on Thursday, a day brightened immeasurably by the random fluctuations of my menstrual cycle, which is getting shorter. Sigh. However, she was photographed in a shiny blue gown with a bright green hood (harrumph, in my day gowns were a decent black, and a trimming of white was the most decoration anyone got), and received a certificate of Bachelor of Scienciness (or something) and we went out for a very decent lunch. How she has grown (see icon).
I have spent much of today watching Adam Lambert in concert with Queen, on YouTube. Awesome.
I have also just been reminded of the unspeakable Olympic plushies which populated the department store from which we viewed some of the Olympic buildings withephemera back at the end of April. Strange, dildo-like creatures with a single eye... there are some truly warped minds at work on the Olympics, truly. However, the Amazon product reviews compensate to some extent. Really, these things are becoming an art form.
