Have you seen today's offerings on Cake Wrecks? Incredibly gorgeous works of art.

I made inroads into the 15.4lb pumpkin today... less than half of it has made one large and two small pies and a very decent curry. I think I may have to freeze some of it. I hadn't recognised that growing food actually leads to more, and more complicated, cooking than I usually bother to do. Still, eating something you planted as a seed or sprout is quite a splendid experience. Oh, and the corn cobs are gorgeous.

Listening to the tail end of J Timberlake's 20/20 Experience (Part 1, apparently) for probably the first time. I certainly don't remember anything beyond 'Mirrors', and I suspect I only recognise that one because it was our Zumba cool-down for quite a while. Eh.

Pumpkin curry sounds delicious!

Yeah, I'm not impressed with JT's singles, so I can't imagine I'll like the rest of the album.

Ooooh, the cakes are amazing.

Don't really like anything besides 'Mirrors'. :/

You've seen that thing about microwaving corn to avoid the hassle of removing the silk and husks, right? We don't have a microwave, but it turns out that just slinging it into the oven as is for 30 mins (i.e., the time needed to cook the dish I was making with it) works too.

I didn't love JT's 20/20 part 1, I'm cautiously hopeful for part 2 as I prefer 'take back the night' to most of part 1. *fingers crossed*
