A Sparkly Vow

There was a pink stretch limo in the Milton Keynes shopping centre today. In a futile concession to good taste, it was sorta metallic sugar-almond-pink rather than outright Barbie, but the fact remains, it was the most absurd vehicle. I was enchanted. And I have vowed, that if my Adored Sparkly Ones ever get their act back on the road again and come over here in concert, I shall be chauffered thither in a pink stretch limo.

Yeah, I have this horribly poorly timed trip to the US to do, and having been laid low half the week by post-flu-jab illness, I now have three tons of things to do frantically over the weekend. Joy. *wonders if her washing machine has a turbo-charge button* *g*

I keep being tempted to host a sparkly weekend but I don't think I have enough UK sparklypeeps on my lj flist because when I make vague suggestions about it no one ever says anything. :) (And then I realize I'd have to tidy up the house. eep. *g*) I have plenty of space, though, so if you don't end up doing it maybe I'll have a go. :)

Back now, and typing with the serious disadvantage of my cat sitting on my chest. Yep, a good time was had by all, much footage watched and squee expressed, much food consumed and little sleep obtained (why sleep when you could be watching Robbie Williams in concert, or Backstreet being asked which of them most smells like cheese? {WTF?})

We'll have to see about local sparkly meetings! Would be cool.
