There is a ladybird on my screen. There seem to be a surprising number of them about the house.

Cannot find Christmas tree decorations. Bun seems to think they came back to this house after being used at Bunnyhold last year, but I'm baffled. Checking each and every box in the summer house may be our next task, sigh.

Just been reading a rather awesome (and slightly out-of-date) thread on Ask A Manager which includes a magnificent array of euphemisms for 'menstruating' and considerable sympathy-inducing personal examples of why, for instance, wearing a panty-liner if one is aware a period is due (so as not to inconvenience other people, natch) is Just Not On. And so forth. I would be tempted to devise something about Arsenal if I expected to need euphemisms in the future. Or whoever it is who wears claret and blue.

I am so pleased that at least on the internet, these things can now be discussed.

Aww, no Christmas decorations?!?!!? That is tragic. I am not putting mine up this year- too busy working, but I do know where they are. I look at the boxes longingly from time to time. Ahahaha.

Mercifully I found them in the, hmm, 4th box, I think. Not too bad!

I found them and Bun has collected them. Although I understand her cats have been playing in the tree, so, hmm. Not sure that adding lots of tempting brightly coloured baubles will improve the situation.

Quite so! Particularly since there is one among them that looks like a particularly classy lava lamp.

It is very odd. Either we have a random handful of them somewhere in the house, or there is one oddly active one turning up here and there.

Fortunately they were in the fourth box, which is not too bad. The ladybirds are welcome to the warmth, but still a bit baffling.
