Sable has just sniffed my foot.

We had visitors for a couple of days, a WoW-playing friend of Beast's and his wife. We took them to the coast to see the seals and their pups—it is nearly the end of the season, but a great many seal pups have been born there, and we did see quite a few.
We then went to Great Yarmouth—which was shut—in the hope of getting really good fish and chips. The Front, in January, is a bleak and dismal place. We found one open café (and had, to be fair, a nice meal, though it was not the authentic fish and chips experience).
After that we came back into Norwich, and I dispatched the other three to visit the Anglican cathedral (we'd been to the Catholic one on Monday, it's impressive in the "Victorians building Gothic the way is *should* be done" style) while I trotted about the shops, then the castle, then home. There is quite a lot to see here, but it's sorta nice not to see all the obvious bits too often.
