It's nice to be back in my own home again. And the snow has gone, all but a few miserable remnants from where Beast piled it out of the way.

Also, two postcards, one from dine and one from ephemera—thank you both!

The cats didn't exactly miss me, I don't think, and I can't claim that they were delighted to see me back, but we seem to have the same relationship that we had before. Except that Sable has permitted me to stroke her a couple of times. They have taken to snuggling together on a large cushion, looking very regal and pampered.

We have a nasty storm rolling in this evening and are due to get up to 45cm of very heavy, wet snow. People are already cancelling, rearranging appointments, etc. I'm off one job and plan to not attend the other either. I have All Wheel Drive in my car, but that doesn't mean my road will be maintained OR that I will be able to see to get there, either.
