pensnestI went into London today for an AGM, and had a much more fun day than you might expect. All kinds of shenanigans with trains, but the two of us got there in the end, and I found the meeting quite interesting. Afterwards went to Covent Garden to visit my favourite earring shop and scored a pair of beglittered parrots in epaulettes and Nelson hats, and really, need I say more?
At King's Cross Station, I ended up
a) watching Amersham Acappella perform several excellent barbershop songs (they were UK champions in 2016)
b) singing a couple of polecats with Amersham Acappella
c) identifying a member of Amersham Acappella as someone who was briefly a member of the Hemel Theatre Group, and having a very cheerful chat with her.
And now, I'm back again, and the cats are snuggled on the sofa without my legs to nestle them as I am catching up on my computer.
