Sable was Prey again this evening, for reasons of her own. Although Princess has now retreated to lie snugly in the cat dish, Sable is under the sofa.

FIL confided to us his worries that Bun and her new gentleman friend are taking things unseemly fast. He spotted them holding hands when they came here for lunch on Sunday.

Well, the bowl-shaped thing which is part of the cat tree. Both cats like it in there, as they can conform to the bowl quite easily. I guess.

Ah, the younger generation—it all comes of letting them get out of wearing girdles, I feel sure.
