pensnestThere was hail yesterday - and it was still lying on the grass when we got back from the gym at lunchtime. Gravelly little chunks of it clustered in the grass. It also snowed, but only for about a minute. But the hail made the most enormous racket against the library door!

And this evening, Princess Fluffykins has brought in a mouse*. It is loose in the library. There are many convenient places in the library where a mouse may hide, as the bookshelves have convenient mouse-sized openings at the bottom. Dammit.
