Aug. 31st, 2020 09:21 pmThere exists cat wine. It is called, of course, Purrsecco, and contains catnip and other enticing things.
No, I lie, it turns out there are (at least) two kinds of cat wine: there is also Pinot Meow.
I so want to offer this to my cats, and observe what happens. But the cat wines do not appear to be available in the UK. Although one can purchase Pawsecco, it contains no catnip and therefore, does not appeal to me. I have fond memories of giving Socks a catnip mouse, and her subsequent floopiness.
It's possible I am a Bad Cat Owner.

Wow.
Bach in the woods, played by a wooden ball.

Every time I see details I am amazed anew at how difficult it is for Americans to vote. From this side of the Atlantic, the system(?)—the 50+ different systems—is baffling. I just read another of John Scalzi's pleas to Vote!, and it is Just So Complicated.
Good advice there and in the comments, though I am sure anyone reading my DW is aware of what to do and planning to/already on it.

After his noble stint as electrician a few days ago, Beast applied the circular saw to the wall of the cupboard-that-was/wardrobe-to-be. The plaster dust thus generated was *incredible*, even though I was standing there like a dental nurse trying to catch the stuff with the Dyson. Subsequently he has been dismantling the hardboard on the inside. Sadly, I don't think he's the kind of chap who would be having the time of his life doing this, but he is doing a sterling job at any rate.

I am seriously pondering getting boob rabbits in a smaller size. I *think* they are shaped for round, melon-like breasts, but mine are more cone-shaped so the bunny head is too big. Possibly the gaping at the sides is because I put them on twice today. First time, they worked fine.

Date: 2020-09-01 05:32 am (UTC)I had somehow assumed that the rabbits would be less shape-specific than bras with more structured cups, but we live and learn!
