pensnestMore sorting and carting today. We emptied bedroom 2 and took up the carpet - turns out carpet rips quite nicely if you get it started in the right direction. That, the underlay, and a pile of electrical and metal objects, many of them knives, got taken to the Dump.
Then, we went to a carpet shop and managed to order a new one which is likely to be fitted within the week! \o/ In time for BIL's next visit, so he'll be able to sleep in a bedroom with an ensuite if he wants to. And my Boy will have a wholesome carpet in the room when he has to move in.
So many trips up and down stairs. Legs weary. Time to knit.
