Are there any Lord Peter Wimsey fan sites that would have good information on the details of Wimsey's life? I think I need the fannish love and dedication to detail. The Wiki article is definitely not up to scratch.

Our water heating was making a lot of noise last night, like having a stream trickling through the bedroom. As I was awake at three in the morning, I found it rather disturbing. Beast tracked down an air valve and things seemed to quieten down, but I woke up at early-gym-today time feeling like death, and after sitting with a trainer on one foot but unable to summon the will to do up the laces, I wimped out of my yoga class and went back to sleep. It helped.

My mixed chorus had a very enjoyable day with a singing coach on Sunday. He went through a bunch of warm up exercises (including lying on the floor to relax) and somehow, without us necessarily believing it, we made the most incredible sound! And as usual with my lovely mixed chorus, the whole day was fun and funny and supportive.

And, on the subject of barbershop choruses, this is my women's chorus' performance from this year's LABBS convention. Enjoy. Feel the warmth!

Your group sounds wonderful! Since you've given no hints as to which one is you, I feel the need to guess... The one in pink??? LOL. My first real guess is the woman with short hair who is 3rd from the left for the early part, with the white necklace.

Ugh! There's little more annoying from annoying noises and misbehaving mechanical things sounding off in the middle of the night when one is attempting to slumber. I'm glad Beast has some knowledge to calm thing down. I always tell myself, there's nothing wrong with taking a day off (from my daily walks). Sometimes your body needs a rest.

OMG! The one with the large flowers on the skirt? You may not believe it, but that was my second pick! LOL. For some reason, I pictured you with shorter hair, but I thought the lady on the right end with the shawl was very cool. You look fantastic. I was hoping I'd guess you within the first dozen choices. I should've given my top 3 choices! LOL

Nighttime rumblings are most disturbing because it's often so hard to get back to sleep, and yes, your sleepy mind can run rampant.

I think staying home and sleeping was the best decision.

I have to agree, the group does sound wonderful, and you all look amazing in the colour matching outfits. I liked playing spot Pen, too.

Don't know of one. I like Wimsey - I've just based a character in a game on him. Happy to beta read if it helps, though can't guarantee to catch everything. But at least I've read several of the books recently.

Lovely singing! What a shame there's a really annoying crackling noise in the background....

Have you read The Wimsey Papers? Letters from family members in WW2, written by Sayers and published in the Spectator?
I was going to offer to email you them but Faded Page has them here:
https://www.fadedpage.com/showbook.php?pid=20160306

It's semi-canonical, not fannish but it is more Wimseys.

The Dorothy L Sayers Society has the third edition of the Lord Peter Wimsey Companion available free online if you register with them.

https://lpwc.sayers.org.uk/SignUp

The physical print 2nd edition was 773 pages, so if that doesn't fulfil your Wimsey needs I don't know what will!

Omg, thank you for sharing that! I *am* feeling the warmth right now. And also the peace and the love -- all the grooviest of feelings. Absolutely lovely!

You all sounded beautiful! And so pretty in those vivid colours. I hardly recognised you with that long hair though!

Ahahaha my sister was here the other day and she said the atmosphere was positively aquatic, so I guess it's time to call someone to check the water heating :D
