Celebrations, but quietly

Married Beast 23 years ago today. Which was a good thing to do.

The Brats insisted, despite their advanced years, that they must have their Easter Egg hunts as usual. It's amazing how rarely it has rained here on Easter Day, we have had perhaps two indoor hunts in all this time. Bun is still a teenager, but won't be next year. So we set her to hiding half the eggs for her brother to find, then the three of us combined against her to hide her half. My favourite was the little red egglet nestled amidst a cluster of huge red berries. Anyway, egg hunt has now been accomplished, and the Brats are eating crumpets.

And I have Remix stories to read! Yay.

Happy Anniversary! and um, yes on the never-ending Easter egg hunts. We still have little ones amidst the crowd of cousins, but the older ones are getting things like Sephora gift cards and iTunes money and minutes for their cell phones. And candy, of course--heaven forbid we miss a chance to make ourselves sick on jelly beans.

I know! Bun was quite horrified when I pointed out that Charlie is, what, four next week? Meep. What are things coming to, when my daughter is feeling old?!

The iTunes credit goes down quite well with Bun, too, but it's not so easily hidden in the garden. It's rather gratifying to realise that we have a Tradition, though!
