Unnecessary pictures

The programme is done, and for the moment I am confident that it is a fine and immaculate programme with no flaws. No doubt when it comes back from the printer I shall be disabused of this notion.

I see from silveryscrape's journal that it was LJ MPREG Day yesterday. Let there be fear and trembling.

Meanwhile, I'm in a random just-been-efficient mood, and inclined to post pictures. So, here are Joey and Lance.














Joey worked out quite well, but Lance, not so much. Never mind. I need a Justin pic that I can mugshot. Something fairly full-face, with a plain, light background.

And now, because this is something you all wanted to know, here's a pic of my back garden as it looked three weeks ago (I procrastinate a lot).









The pink blossom is all gone now, the rhubarb is magnificent, and the weeds at the bottom of the garden are waist-high. Sigh. Also, it isn't particularly sunny today. So, there you are.

Garden looks lovely, David does ask how you are coping with it so I will have to show him the picture. It has just taken me an hour to mow my own lawn so I am now knackered.

Oh, no, I love the Lance mug. I don't know how in character it is, but he looks very delicate and mysterious. Yum.

It's quite steep, your lawn... The front garden is more-or-less respectable, and I have had a few sessions of attacking the weeds lately, though they are relentless. But the back is reverting to wild, I think, except for the area around the patio which I attempt to tend. I have a few Grand Schemes, but lack the will to implement them at present. However, I haven't completely abandoned the ground, so I think David oughtn't to despair of me!

Thanks - I wanted to have a go at colouring the background and letting the face be mug-coloured (well, almost - did shade it a bit), but it's hard to get the background smooth. Also, Lance's face is mostly soft and curves, it's a lot harder to figure out how to 'Threshold' it in Photoshop to get it to work! But I'm glad you think it looks good. :-)

I like best the bits where the plants that are supposed to be there have overwhelmed the weeds. Sadly, most of the garden is the other way round - but at least the greenness still looks pretty!

Chris is a very good subject for this sort of picture! And the garden does look pretty, doesn't it - better at a distance than close up, of course, for then one can perceive the, ahem, irregularities of its contents. You were down here just a bit too early to see the pink blossom at the back, and the magnolia in bloom at the front.
