I'm particularly pleased that this one won, because I really like the way it turned out. I've made a couple more since using the same method.

Whereas this one surprised me, I really preferred the other one I made for this challenge.

Obviously, I've started to do a few 'reflected' icons these days.

This just makes me giggle.

The text is my favourite part of this one.

Date: 2007-02-19 05:59 pm (UTC)It's funny - as for the simplicity, I'm participating in a LIMS challenge on SGA icons, and the general style there is *so* different from the way we mostly do popslash icons, it's a bit disconcerting. So far, I've been in the undistinguished middle of the pack... but I *like* my icons to show who/what the subject is, and not to be all scratchified, etc. Oh well, we'll see.
