When I was little, the only scent a Real Man ever seemed to wear was Old Spice, so everyone smelt like my dad, which was kinda odd, really. At least now, they have options! Thanks for the suggestion.
Btw, I love your icon! I have "I'm not 40, I'm 18 with 22 years' experience" on one of my T-shirts.
I love old spice on a man. I don't know of a pine smelling one, but Polo is kind of a sharp wood smelling one to me. I don't like it. I like Obsession, Tricor and Old Spice. Brut sometimes.
I know a lot of guys like to wear Very Sexy For Him by Victoria Secret but they say the scent is "A spicy citrus blend. It's as sexy and unexpected as the man who wears it. Domestic." So not piny...
But there is also Curve! I know A LOT of guys wear Curve and it smells great-- I like it better than Sexy For Him. And I went to research the scent. Amazon.com said "CURVE is classified as a refreshing, spicy, lavender, amber fragrance. Green leaf, lavender and Douglas fir are complimented with warm spicy pepper, Italian bergamont and Brazilian mahagony wood"
So that has some very outdoorsy smells and PLUS some douglas fir :D yay pine trees!
I don't know the difference between cologne and after shave...so I hope that is helpful.
Curve is indeed very yummy. dark_sanction uses it from time to time and he always smells goooooood from it.
I went around and talked to some guys in my dorm also-- Some of the frat guys, some of our musician guys, and just some random guys. A lot of people talked about a scent called EZRA Fitch. It smelt rather nice! So I looked it up. Discription is as follows: Ezra Fitch Cologne defines the classic heritage of Abercrombie & Fitch fragrance. Exciting the senses with lavender, fresh bergamot, and sexy leather accords, Ezra Fitch deepens into a masculine musk and finishes with the strength of sandalwood.
Sandal wood? Who knew! And it's even quite pricey...
One guy told me that he wore Ferarri Black...not only did that sound awesome! But I think it might be the scent you are looking for :D very woodsy! So I checked that out too and it said, Ferrari Black Is Classified As A Sharp, Woody, Mossy Fragrance. This Masculine Scent
The other types the guys told me about were all kinda light and citrusy-- so eh. I hope this helped and I'm just not rambling lol!
Thanks for the suggestions - I'll definitely have to go and sniff stuff! Even though it looks as though my 'pine scented' notion is going to have to go. (Pine as a fragrance is a bit risky anyway, as it tends to remind me of toilet cleaner, so it's not a great loss.)
