On dragons

pensnestI'm thinking, perhaps I should re-think this year's Dragon (and Dwarf!) Challenge. My intention was to open signups on St George's Day (Monday), and have the stories submitted in time to reveal them on D-Day (6th June, and my birthday). But, with the Happyfic Challenge so nicely in progress, as well as the Remix deadline in early May, is that going to mean there are Just Too Many Challenges going on at once?
A feasible alternative seems to be that I open signups on June 6th, with a submission deadline sometime at the end of July. Dear flist, would you be more likely to write a Dragon and/or Dwarf story with that timetable? Or should I stick with the original plan?
