Friendslist, you are not helping. Not Helping. There should be screensful (screenfuls?) of long, witty, entertaining posts - or failing that, screens full of *anything*, anything at all to distract me and make me not have to write my story. This is Not Kind.

Fortunately there are angsty, sexful McShep stories. There is 16x16 sudoku. There are the archives of Go Fug Yourself. There are menfolk to be plied with unnecessary snacks, which they will not eat because they are raiding. Hell, I even blow-dried my hair!

Just don't make me write my story! No! I know how it goes. I get this idea, and all these scenes, and then I write it down and it turns into something drivelly and nowhere near as wonderful as it was in my head and I have to keep reading it and fiddling and trying to make it work and it won't and dammit, I don't want to write it.

Faugh. Just shoot me now.

Oh god, yes. I just went to Morrisons to get food even though I don't need it BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO WRITE MY STORY. That is dedication to procrastination.

I was sorta enthused by my singing, because (a) had to sight read the end of one of the numbers, which they all worked on last week while I was watching my dad become a Roman Catholic, and (b) we sang carols. Fal la la la la, la la la la. Aha.

But hey, you has a cool idea, and everything!

I can't do Talk at the moment cos I'm on the wrong computer, as Himself is raiding upstairs and the weird conversations about DPS and loot and such distract me. from sudoku

Things can throw you off so easily. I find it much harder to write on the laptop downstairs, but if my Beast is sitting next to me up here, playing Warcraft on his computer, I can't concentrate.

Earplugs. Seriously. I have been known to write in earplugs if Richard is playing something which needs voice comms or makes a lot of noise.

Oh, I know exactly how you feel... I've been avoiding it with video games all weekend. It's not that I don't know what I'm doing, it's partly that I've written it wrong and need to go back and fix it, and then do the next bit and the next bit and the next bit, and possibly another next bit after that.

And now, for the first time today, the file is actually open (miracle of miracles!) and so is the cut file and I'm going to make this section WORK dammit.

I have a lot of ideas for scenes now, but I don't really know which order they go in, and writing out of order doesn't really work for me. Sigh.

But I'm *going* to write today. I did about 250 words yesterday...

Yeah. I spent much of last night looking at the Beach Porn pics, which while hot, didn't help me write my (Lanceless) SeSa pairing.

I did however get more done! Now I have to work out what's actually going to be in Section 4. And 5. And 6. And maybe 7.

Every now and then I try to write stuff out of order, but it just makes me first confused, and then crazy.
