There must be some stories somewhere.
Jun. 14th, 2010 10:41 amSomeone posted a link to Nifty (I will refrain, for the sake of your sanitys*), and I thought, oh, why not, and looked for some Adam/Lance fics. I found one—they don't have what I'd honestly call an 'indexing' system, but one was actually called Adam and Lance, so okay—and, not at all to my surprise had to stop after about a paragraph on grounds of extreme pain.
Sigh. And they say fanfiction.net is a Pit of Voles.
* My Beast installed the OS upgrade and my birthday present (Adobe CS5) while I was out at the humungous 4+ hours rehearsal yesterday. Unusually, I'm composing this in TextEdit rather than straight into my journal, and I notice that my computer now feels entitled not merely to underline dubious spellings but to correct them. Hah. It believes I should write 'sanitise' instead of 'sanitys' and 'fiches' instead of 'fics'. It knows best, even when I have re-corrected... okay, I am going to *have* to find a way to turn that off before I burst a blood vessel.
And come to think of it, even 'sanitise' is a pain, because previously I was set up for American spelling, the better to manage my US-set stories, and now it has (for the first time *ever*) decided that it will run British spellchecking. Gah. There has to be a global override for this. Also WTF are those weird icons on the top right of my screen? *gibbers*
