Poor pussycat. When the local village firework display started yesterday evening she did the dematerialising thing cats do. Beast noticed she was missing, and searched the house. Having failed to locate the cat, he made me search too.

About ten minutes after the fireworks stopped, the cat walked out from under the footrest I had been using. In fairness she probably hadn't actually dematerialised, she'd been hiding under the draped blanket which Beast likes to snuggle under when we watch telly. She shot back under there when random flashbangs started up later in the evening. Today, though, she took refuge under the computer desk where I'm sitting, another sensible choice.

I'm about two-thirds of the way through the podfic I pledged for the Help Somalia auction. It's all very intense so I'm feeling quite dramatic about it.

proudhebrew posts summaries of Lance's Pop Ten radio shows on still_gay, and in the most recent one, apparently he'd said that his relationship with his mother is not where it should be. I feel sure I'll be writing about this again.
