I posted my MTYG story *hours* ahead of deadline. *preens* Also had Beast with me for the hideous pre-Christmas Sainsburys visit, which helped a bit. He stands still with the trolley and I squeeze between other shoppers and accumulate stuff for him to scan.

I really should be knitting, but I have been perusing the comments to the newest LJ release announcement here, and noting with some amusement that although there are well over 5,000 comments already, in the time it takes me to flick through a page's worth, at least ten more have been added. The degree of unanimity is staggering—95 pages of rage (at least, I think so, but at some point evil people have started putting music on, and it autoplays and they have the world's most surpassingly terrible taste and OMFG NOOOOOOOO.)

Amazing number of bad ideas implemented at one fell swoop.

As the last Dreamwidth News update announced that until the end of this year, people who want to start a DW account don't need a code, I can't help wondering if Our Founders are:

a) psychic
b) paying moles deep within LJ to give advance notice of upfucking
c) cynically aware that LJ is going to mess its users around sooner or later, so why not now,
or just
d) blessed with supernaturally impeccable timing?
