And a visit from a brother and sister and her husband, from New Zealand. Brother and sister lived in this house when they were little, and had written to us to ask if they might come and see it. It was great fun hearing them compare then and now, and tell us how things had been. A most enjoyable interlude in our day.

In other non-rage-making news, we had a good discussion with our architect yesterday and are likely to be able to go out to tender soon.
