I have been busy...

A long update, with illustrations! I've been mentally writing it for several days, but then got busy on house stuff—much furniture shuffling, hoovering and what not—and didn't get round to sorting out the photos.
( Ideally this post would be festooned with glitter, but we cannot have everything. )
