Jan. 8th, 2019 10:47 pmPrincess Fluffykins has not been well. There were some unfortunate incidents of vomiting and, er, other substances, so off to the vet she went - and behaved very well in the face of such indignities as having her temperature taken. She did object to the anti-vomiting injection she received, which the vet had warned us would sting so we were holding her firmly. Poor pussy. However, she refused to eat either the special food or the probiotic goo expensively supplied, and Sable sneered at the special food, too, so the rest of it has gone outside to see if there are any interested hedgehogs.
Fluffy does seem much more with-it today, however, which is a great relief. Both cats seem to be pickier about what they will condescend to eat, which I think is probably a good sign - they now trust that they will be fed again, and don't need to gobble everything that is presented to them.

I have been spending afternoons at the church café in the hopes of selling tickets for our concert on Saturday. Slightly to my surprise, there was a brief but pleasing piece about us on Radio Norfolk last week - I had written to them, but whether it was my email or something else that impelled them to put it on air I do not know. However, I had a nice chat to a BBC chappie at The Forum this afternoon and he expressed an interest in having us involved in a Christmas do, so. Well!

Also, Lance appears to be anticipating Babies, though it is not altogether clear whethere these babies are actually cooking or just intended. <3
