pensnest: pumpkin and other veg in autumnal colours (Pumpkin)
So, we have a new Prime Minister, though from her speech yesterday I'm not entirely sure whether she thinks she is supposed to run the country or Royal Mail. I suppose she probably won't be *quite* as embarrassing as Boris.

It rained! 3mm overnight! \o/

The tomatoes are ripening at a splendid rate. I culled a mixing bowl-ful two days ago, and we got through perhaps a third of it as tomato salad accompanying yesterday's (not-Nutella) pizza. I suspect soups and sauces lie in the very near future.

Also, pumpkin somethings. I have a fully orange one, a mostly orange one, a green-going-orange one, and two more green ones still in the burgeoning stage. And the third of the pumpkin plants seems to have just woken up and decided to do something, so there may yet be more.

Pumpkin curry first, I think.
