Yes, it's a new challenge month tomorrow, copyrightpidalo has nobly stepped up to run it, and I have cunningly suggested to her that an excellent scheme would be to ask you splendid peeps to produce ficlets for fic_requests, which has a magnificent collection of plotbunnies for your writing pleasure. If you do this, by the way, please post your fic as a comment to the request entry, or else comment there with a link to wherever you post your story - so that the requester knows something has been written. And drop in a comment to the community's Recap saying what you've done, so that your fic doesn't get lost.

I owe a lot of stories to fic_requests, and have signally failed to do much writing there myself this year, so this is me trying to compensate by engaging all of you to pick up a request or two. If nothing there inspires you to write, why not put in a request of your own? You can make a new request every week, and perhaps yours will be the inspiration someone else needs.

There's also a fresh challenge up at sky_pie. Possibly I should have demanded drabbles only, as those seemed to work very well...

Think of it as time out from the stress of your bittybang story!
