It was strawberries-and-cream muffins during the week, today, banana muffins. Bun is doing well. (Any exciting and reliable muffin recipes would be much appreciated.)
Beast, Boy and I just watched 'The Sting'. What a delightful film. I watched it with Bun a while ago; we watched the extras, too, with the actors and crew commenting on the experience of making that film, a couple of decades or so further on... Redford looked quite raddled and strange, but Paul Newman was a seriously good-looking guy, however old he was. Wow. Eschew the plastic surgery, you've either got good genes or you haven't... (Lance Bass, please take note.)
Bloody hell. It's still too hot. :-(

Date: 2009-07-04 08:39 am (UTC)Watching the extras, I learned that Newman's role in The Sting was 'the second lead'. Which I suppose it was - but I never thought of it that way while watching the film. I spose that's practically the definition of 'screen authority'.
