pensnest: bright-eyed baby me (baby penguins of joy)

I was very entertained by a small item in the Daily Telegraph this morning (don't mock, I didn't buy it, I read it at the gym while waiting for Beast to get changed). It explained how Virgin Media is using ferrets to lay cables. Of course it's an April Fool—although to be fair, if there hadn't been a little "Ferrets At Work" sign I probably wouldn't have noticed—but I can't help wishing it were true, because it seems like such a brilliant wheeze. (Oh, and the pick-your-badge-colour-by-political-party BMW spoof ad was on the same page.)

This is another one that I kinda wish happened:

And, of course, one of the great classics. The spaghetti tree.

Hee! You know, I was talking to R a couple of weeks ago about cable laying (as you do) and I suggested ferrets would be good at it. The Daily Telegraph is READING MY MIND OMG!
