This morning's workshop went well for the most part, but ended with working in groups of thirteen—such a large group is very difficult, I think. I made a point of not taking over, mostly because I'm already directing a show, I don't need more opportunities to tell the others what to do; but it was a very complicated scenario and involved much business with moving chairs and lots of tiny lines of dialogue from different people, and it seemed to take us for *ever* to figure out what to do with the chairs, so there wasn't a lot of time left to make the thing work theatrical-wise. So, a bit frustrating, and instead of feeling excited and well-worked as I did last week, I'm a little bit off. Also it was damn cold in there, even though the heating was on. Brrrrrr.

Got my prompts for the Brave Author challenge this morning. Hmm. Interesting stuff. Hmm.

Yeah. We were doing a page and a half of Cider With Rosie, fabulously complicated. I think we might have been better off doing something slightly simpler and in smaller groups! But it was an interesting exercise in interaction.
