Had an enjoyably self-indulgent day today. First there was the gym to be got through, of course, but I seemed to be in quite good form.

We went into Snorbins for lunch at Wagamama's. Then to the art gallery where I have been coveting Kerry Darlington pictures for a while now, and the chap in there leapt to attention and ran downstairs to find a picture for me which had come in that morning, and turned out to be just what I wanted. I was in there on Wednesday and talked to him about the pics I liked... So, it is now Mine. Yay! It's not unlike this one. Quick trip to Lush, then on to Hemel for a couple of minor chores.

After which we went to the cinema to see "The King's Speech". Which we both liked very much. Beast, being a Big Softie, was of course awash with tears, which I wasn't, but I loved the way it was such a very personal story. The pomp and splendour of the monarchy was just a backdrop.

I think we were the youngest people in the cinema.

That looks like it would fit your living room perfectly! Also, excellent service.

Have yet to see The King's Speech! Must find somebody to go with.
