pensnestGosh, aren't deadlines fun? I'm supposed to be submitting the 'rough draft' for a story *today*, good thing I've written some of it.
Therefore, I meme, an alphabet thing I picked up fromephemera,
A - Age: 50. Or 23, in my head.
B - Bed size: king
C - Chore you hate: tidying up!
D - Don't eat: grapefruit. It makes me want to hurl. Inconvenient, really.
E - Essential start-your-day item: turn on computer!
F - Favourite board game: probably Trivial Pursuit, although I am beginning to enjoy the collaborative board games my daughter brings home occasionally.
G - Gold or Silver: Gold
H - Height: a bit under 5'7", I think
I - Instruments you play: piano and clarinet, but neither very well and not for years
J - job title: um, sloth?
K - Kid/s: Bun, 24, Boy, 21
L - Love or lust: love, but doesn't that sorta encompass the lust thing?
M - Mom's name: Doris Evelyn June; her daddy called her Dollie May, everyone else called her Eve.
N - Nicknames: my husband calls me Beast and Precious interchangeably, my wicked uncle calls me Twig. A few favoured individuals (basically family) call me Nelope.
O - Overnight hospital stay other than birth: birth of self or others? D&C after blighted ovum before first baby. Somewhat extended stays in hospital after both children were born, for various reasons involving them, not me. Fairly serious abdominal operation involving caesarian-like scar and several days in hospital a couple of years after second baby.
P - Pants or pantyhose: trousers, mostly jeans. I loathe tights, and would rather wear stockings or hold-ups when I am Looking Smart.
Q - Favorite movie quote: I do not think that word means what you think it means.
R - Right or left handed: Right
S - Siblings: sister is three years younger than I am, brother was born when I was nearly nine
T - Time you wake up: nine-ish, usually.
U - Underwear: yes, usually
V - Vegetable favorite: parsnips! Roasted, naturally. Roast parsnips are awesome.
W - Ways you run late: I procrastinate at the computer and then realise I haven't gathered all the stuff I need to take wherever I'm going
X - X-rays you've had: teeth, breasts
Y - Yummy food you make: Baileys cheesecake. Death cake. Christmas dinner. None of them very frequently.
Z - Zoo favorite: piggies. Piggies are cool.
