Me, with my just-arrived Christmas present, reflected in the Very Friendly Mirror (see how slim my legs look!) in the Green Room prior to curtain up on Sunday. Show is going over very well with audiences, and quite right too.



It seemed on Saturday evening that I should have to watch the Doctor Who finale on the BBC iPlayer, as my Beast (aka resident computer expert), and his brother-in-law (ex-BBC research engineer) and our Boy (games addict) did not between them seem to be capable of recording it. However, despite their doubts they did in fact succeed, so I was able to watch it late on Saturday night. It made me happy.

Apropos of finding the JuC Swap fics a new home, I heartily resent the author who produced a thirty-eight part epic. Which probably added up to about 10,000 words. Gah!

It is such a fun dress, and I got it from a local market stall, which was splendid. We mostly costume ourselves for this show, although we borrowed some fluorescent-coloured skirts from another local group, and had a set made by one of the cast. It's a very colourful show!

I found the dress in a local market and was delighted with it. We're doing a revue, a variety show—I've been director for quite a lot of it but am also taking part, which is fun and something I must get back into the swing of.

The dance epic, with them both ballet dancers—it is an interesting story, I'm sure I've read it before, but—gah! Admittedly the way Dreamweaver CS5 was behaving really Did Not Help. I've gone back to CS3 for now.
