30 days of fanfic meme, day 3

3 – For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?
ST:TNG - Data! My first fannish love, and Just My Type. Those of you who have met my Beast will perhaps understand this?
Independence Day: I actually wrote this from an OFC's point of view, which went rather well. Only had the one story to write, anyway.
The Archers: Ian (and Adam), definitely. Sadly, the airwaves were polluted by the obnoxious wails from the Emma/William/Edward camp a few years ago, and I got so fed up that the addiction of decades just faded into complete disinterest. (It didn't hurt that I'd found popslash...) But if some kind soul happens to have recorded every scene featuring Adam and/or Ian, I'd love a copy… You can have my second-born. Please.
Stargate: Atlantis - Teyla, I think. She's just so much more sensible than the boys! Though I do love to read a well-written Rodney.
Harry Potter: well, it was a Neville fic, but possibly I most enjoyed Snape. In my mind, he was sniping a sardonic internal commentary on everything, and trying not to laugh at certain points in the story, which made it great fun to write him.
Popslash: Lance, of course. Though Chris is terrific fun, and extremely helpful in lightening up a story which is getting a bit lumpen.
Glambert: I like writing Adam very much. I'd probably love writing Brad if I were better at him. I think Brad is story-leavening in the same way Chris Kirkpatrick is.
