Have been following links on YouTube to my beautiful boys singing, and *sigh*, how lovely they are.

Except for a performance on Leno which I had not previously seen, in which I initially thought Justin was wearing the World's Ugliest Sweater, only to discover that no, *JC* was wearing a garment so hideous it beggars description. What did he do wrong?

Also, discovered I had never (to my recollection) watched Nsync's Jackson 5 medley, with Chris being all front mannish and bouncing around singing all the solos. Awesome. Less awesome were the... outfits...

Either both of them got dressed in the dark, while hung over and concussed, or they *seriously* upset the costume department and/or the drycleaners.

What *I* want to know is could Justin sing if you Botoxed his eyebrows?

Man those sweaters are hideous. Yet, tame compared to some of the shit they wore.

The concert that the Jackson 5 Medley comes from was aired Fox Family here (now ABC Family) when I was in 8th grade, and I would watch it every time it aired. My brother and I had the whole thing memorized.

I have a new theory!!! Maybe it was their Johnny Depp/Brad Pitt kind of thing... you know, where they don't want to be known for being pretty, so they do everything they can to downplay their physical attractiveness. Depp and Pitt used to go around with greasy hair and unshaven faces and grungy hair, and whenever I saw them on TV I used to wish that someone would hold them down and hose them clean. *shrug* Maybe this was as far as the Nsync guys could go to make themselves look icky.

That, or their stylists really, really hated them.

I've spent those days watching videos of them on Youtube, and I've had these same thoughts. Sometimes, I can't even pay attention to the performance because of what they are wearing, and in my opinion JC has had some of the worst outfits out of all of them, but then again it was the 90's/early 2000's so it makes sense why the fashion was so bad.
