A query about podfic

Does anyone know anything about the audiofic site here: http://audiofic.jinjurly.com/ ?

I have sent three emails (one of which included a podfic submission) and had no response at all. I think it's a great archive and have been collecting podfics at a great rate, but if I can't get anything new onto the site, where do new podfics go to get some love? I am due to produce a recording for the Help Somalia auction, and it'd be nice to know where it will be able to find a home.

The interface has been down since this summer, with a very brief seeming fix last month that sadly broke within the first 24 hours. I'm pretty hopeful that it'll go back to running if not soon then eventually, but right now no new podfic can be listed (though it can still upload to the archive, so that isn't kaputt).

Yu can always post to amplificathon, and the plan is to upload and archive all stories submitted there eventually. Just not...now :)

Ah - thanks for the update on that. What a pity! I hope they manage to fix things, it's such a great resource.

I hope so too!

But amplificathon is pretty great in tagging and organizing things, and luckily the archive is still fully searchable and accessible for everything before July or so. I tend to search both when I'm looking for stuff...

You can post to AO3? I don't know how they do the streaming thing, but it's very nifty.

Hmm... that may be doable, though I don't know if the story I'm reading is *on* AO3. I'll have to contact the author. Thanks for the suggestion.

Jinjurly is general_jinjur but Cath's response above is probably more pertinent as I don't podfic.

They had technical problems this year and had a hard time fixing them. As far as I know they have fixed them now, but do have a rather big backlog to upload. (Everything that gets posted at ~amplificathon gets automatically archived there and there was a lot posted at the community those last months.)
