Spent quite a lot of the last three days with no internet! The horror! *shudders* Our cable modem is intermittent, and the modem for the back-up service died (probably something to do with the two power cuts last Friday, just as we were heading off to the show). On the up side, I read a book... and had to spend a lot of time down at the theatre anyway.


Somewhat before that, I can't remember why, I googled myself, and found a site offering to discover sites similar to my pensnest.co.uk website.

The first such site sells cheap pens. Meh.

The second sells engraved pens, which is better.

The third? Terri's LiveJournal.

(And, the fourth and fifth were MickeyM's and Arsenicjade's fic websites. Somebody has some smart software, there!)



Why are all the posts to popstoryfinders about stories I have never read? All the boys are dogs!

to loose one source of the internet may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness trauma!

It was *most* frustrating! Alleviated somewhat by Zen Internet being awesome with the customer service. Virgin less awesome, but it seems (she said cautiously) to be working again now.

I just saw that dog!sync post and it made me plotz! (It's supposed to be het, too, as if the whole dog thing weren't enough. Blurgh.)

I wrote a story which turned them all (except Lance) into dogs once. But it wasn't het!

Some of the best stories I've ever read have turned the guys into some animal or other! The description for this one though...I don't know. It sounded a little overwrought. (Maybe I've just read too much bad het over the years. :)

I think you need a great sense of humor to get away with a premise like that.

It was fun deciding which breed of dog they should be—but it was a Harry Potter crossover, so there was an actual explanation for the sudden doggyness.

I love the crack stories which have someone turning into an animal, waking up in someone else's body, turning into a woman, etc. Awesome stuff, and popslash is so rich in those. But you definitely need a sense of humour to pull it off!
