I am so charmed by the GFY Royal Ascot post featuring a surprising number of awesomely ridiculous hats. Some of those ladies must have neck muscles like steel hawsers. I am also happy to have discovered Mad Hattery, even though it shuns the absurdities to fawn over what royalty puts on its collective head. I *like* hats.

oh, thank you for linking to the Ascot Hats - some of those are amazing and a bunch are pure WTF? (but fun). I admit to giggling at a couple and boggling at quite a few more

People have *so* much fun with their Ascot hats. I think it's an unacknowledge English art form. We should have more hat-wearing occasions.

I have a mild hat addiction, and sadly few occasions on which I can wear a Real Hat. I have to get my kicks vicariously!

That first Olympic flame torch hat was amazing. I don't know how she balances wearing that.
