In other news, I had my chin threaded yesterday. Ow. But it is wonderfully smooth today.

What in the world is chin threading? That sounds horrible!

It's a procedure for extracting the hairs - the operator wields strands of cotton to hoik the hairs out. Painful - rather like an Epilady - but effective at dealing with even very short hairs. Sadly, I can grow quite a good beard, and my waxing lady hasn't bothered to get back to me to offer me an appointment, but the threading booth was right there in the shopping centre.
