Ah, there's someone doing a chapter-by-chapter read-through of Manna Francis' Administration series - at least, she's starting with Mind Fuck, and I hope it'll continue.

The blogger is interleaving the MF chapters with chapters from 50 Shades of Gray which... could be interesting.

That is seriously a lot of chapters! Even if it's just Mind Fuck, that's a lot. If she makes it all the way to the end, then she definitely deserves a medal.


Which reminds me that I have a bunch of Administration feedback sitting in my inbox that I need to reply to TODAY. No medals deserved over here.

I have never read 50 Shades. I flicked through a copy in a book shop, once, and it didn't seem like we'd get on well together, so I left it there to find a better owner.

I've never got to the opening it in a book shop stage, and after reading the posts on the first two chapters, I'm entirely satisfied with my choice!

Ooh. Is that Toreth?

Yes, it is! Or rather, it's Johnny Depp in The Astronaut's Wife, which is a very close approximation of the Toreth in my head. maryavatar made it for me ages ago.

Have we not watched that? We should, next time you're up here. It isn't brilliant, but it's entertaining and watching Johnny Depp be Toreth (albeit with an American accent) for an hour and a half is fun.
