I mis-read it at first and thought it was to be broadcast, albeit locally, but as it is I doubt we will ever find out. (Unless she says something so frighteningly controversial that it ignites some kind of storm! Which seems most unlikely.)

I haven't read Lance's book, but I've been told that he said his family had no clue, which surprised me. I remember at least one quote from Diane Bass back in the day where she seemed to know that Lance might be gay. (Something along the lines of hoping he found that "special person" rather than "special girl".) It'd be interesting to hear what Diane Bass is saying about it now.

Also, great to hear Lance produced a documentary about LGBT teens.

It seems so peculiar that Diane Bass would be shocked by the revelation, while fans who'd never met Lance were not the least bit surprised. I don't know. It would certainly be interesting to know what she's gone through, and how the experience has changed her—which I think it must have done.
