Now that we are sorted - or at any rate, whatever isn't done is not going to get done and I don't care - I can give long overdue thank yous for my Christmas cards. These are heavy on both glitter and home-createdness, which are both highly relevant to my interests! Thank you all: Turlough (and Lancecat), JM, Nopseud, KC, Rikes, Fleur, Terri, Dine, Bettina, Lesa, Mira, Saba and Steph. Adding considerably to the festive decor!

It wouldn't be Proper Christmas without a little last-minute MTYG panic, would it? Just saying.

Hurrah for the popslash Secret Santa! As usual I have been very fortunate with my story, a lovely long-term-relationship with both sweetness and a dash of realistic salt, and I enjoyed reading it very much. the big picture. We have a sadly reduced crop this year, but from my reading so far, the quality is very definitely up to standard! Enjoy - and don't forget to send feedback. I think i probably need to calculate how long the Roast Beast will take so that I can timetable tomorrow, but it's a leisurely enough activity. My bro-in-law still hasn't actually arrived, in fact, he hasn't actually set off yet (he's been having car trouble and is supposed to call us when he starts out). It won't take him long to get here, car permitting, but it's a bit tedious of him not to have begun yet. Ah well. We are all currently sitting at separate computers. A house full of introverts is a very peaceful place!

We have a couple of handy card-display things, one in the shape of a Christmas tree, which stands on the shelf and enables a lot of cards to display in a small amount of shelf space. It looks very festive.
