I've just discovered the existence of a book called "A Billionaire Dinosaur Turned Me Gay". It's by somebody called Hunter Fox, and it is reviewed on Smart Bitches, Trashy Books here.

I am ecstatic to report that one of the comments reads as follows:

The author’s bio says he writes “erotic novels.” Is 15 pages considered novel length for erotica…?

I shared this information with nopseud and chalcopyrite, who are sitting on my sofas, and we were all very nearly hysterical for several minutes charmed beyond expression.

omg, what a perfect icon!

I discovered that review yesterday and fell over laughing at both the reviewer's comments, and the absolutely batshit 'plot' of the masterpiece

Little did I know, when I acquired the icon, that I would have the *perfect* occasion to use it. Because wtf?

I have a suspicion that nopseud will be unable to resist the lure of the billionaire dinosaur*.

We nearly died laughing, I can guarantee you that much! I doubt nopseud will be able to resist it for long. The author churns out a book* a week, and occasionally makes them available as mini-collections. It's a niche market, but clearly there is demand for "...turned me gay" plots.


* Well, fifteen pages isn't really—never mind.

It's worse - I think I got it wrong. It's actually "A Billionaire Dinosaur Forced Me Gay".

Perusing the list of the author's other works is... quite the education.

One of the advantages of living on a Small Island. Actually nopseud lives only ninety minutes or so from my house at the moment. chalcopyrite had to come across a small sea, but to an airport handily 20 minutes away. Brilliant stuff.

I heartily recommend the kind of get-together where one can bewail the details of one's MTYG request and seek inspiration from other people who Understand. We've been doing this for a few years now, and it's always fun and always helpful.
