I pruned this morning. Well, 'pruned' might be going a bit far, as it seems to imply expertise; I reduced one of the shrubs to a slightly less tangled and protruding mountain. There are several more bushes burgeoning as though it is springtime. Stupid bushes. All the crocuses and daffs are sending up leaves, and the snowdrops-on-steroids are already flowering. There will be bitter frost and snow in, hmm, April. Or May. And they will all be sorry.

By way of reward (okay, I'm strange), I spent a while going through popstoryfinders requests—by the way, the newest one up is for a story I read very recently, somebody must have linked to it recently—and I’m charmed by the fact that so many of the requests are for utter crack. Like, the one where Justin sells JC into slavery. Or the one where Nick has to live and work in the mines. Or the one where they are all turned into animals and JC is a turtle. He has to ride a skateboard so as to keep up with the other guys. (Please tell me somebody can find this fic! JC is a TURTLE ON A SKATEBOARD. I *must* read this.)

Whoa. You gardened. Like an adult. I usually just pull up the tallest weeds and hope my neighbors aren't judging me too harshly.

And I would read the crap out a fic where Nick has to live and work in the mines :) I saw a french mining movie called Germinal not long ago and have mines on the brain now.

I love that JC as a turtle wouldn't cause a raised eyebrow, but turtle on a skateboard is worth noting!

It says so very much about popslash that I'm not at all suprised there was a story in which JC was a turtle on a skateboard :-)
