A fanon question

I'm posting this because dammit, I'm fighting terrible hard with a story that just won't be written, deadline notwithstanding. But, truth to tell, I've been wondering, in my many idle moments... so your input would be much appreciated.

It's not a universally accepted truth (well, what the heck *is*, in fanon?) but there seems to be a strong trend within the popslash I read to the effect that, well, that... that Lance was extra-blessed by the Endowment Fairy. (Mental note to self: write fic in which Lance has an Every Flavour Bean instead.)

Okay, sometimes the size credit goes to JC instead, and I've read an occasional Joey's-big or (once, anyway) Chris-coulda-been-a-porn-star. Never a Justin, which I take it is a nod to Cosmic Justice. But - well, why? Where did the Lance-has-a-big-dick semi-fanon come from? Is there (I blush to think of this, because I am pure and good) canon? Who (does anybody know?) started the fanon theme?

Also, why Lance? Is it one of those things that simply became semi-fanon and lots of people go with it? Or is there something about Lance that makes it, at times, necessary to give him a big dick? If so, what? And why does it seldom apply to any of the others? And (it just occurs to me to inquire) is it the same thing that endows JC? Because I suspect that it isn't...

I'm sure someone posted a pic (someone being one of a thousand popslashers) where something fairly damn impressive was showing through the boy's khakis. Not in a JC-I'm-so-excited-performing way, either. Kind of scary. Plus, the deep voice=big balls thing has some associations.
And, you know what? There really is something about Lance that makes me want him to have a big dick. It just seems appropriate.

I think it's a very fanon thing to give Lance a big dick, but last year fandom found HQs of the infamous beach porn shoot that hinted that perhaps it wasn't all fanon.

As for Justin, those groupie sites all have him down as a mediocre lay with a smaller dick, so yes.

And speaking as a guy who has been at the beach in jeans...his dick is currently shriveled up and as small as it's EVER been in his life in that above linked picture. The ocean is damn COLD in jeans.

Yeah, it seems to be one of those firmly held beliefs that become 'fact' once you've been in fandom a while. Like Chris being uncut, I swear that's mentioned so often you'd think there was a secret picture somewhere showing the evidence.

There's also this picture of mini Lance and this and this picture of mini JC. Though if that qualifies as "big", or if they both just were a little excited that day, I can't say.

If I had to chose one of them to give a big dick to (in fiction!), I'd probably chose Lance, too. I think maybe because he's got a staring role in most Popslash stories, so it wouldn't really be appropriate to have his respectice partner in the story to unwrap him and be disappointed.
