Seven! Uh. I don't think I have *any* memory of what it was like to be seven... but that's probably a bit more youthful than any of us quite wants to regress to!

Funny, isn't it—we're all supposed to look back fondly on our teenage years, but I like being Me so much more now than I did then!

That liquid leading piece is, indeed, fascinating. One of the things I really like about a lot of contemporary dance and contemporary ballet is what it does with gender and gender roles, and the small amount of partner dancing that I've seen has been - remarkably boring in that regard. Sadlers puts on a fair amount of flamenco and salsa, and it's just never held my attention, and I think the relic rigid roles might be a factor.
