I must have forgotten something. I've... sent the Christmas cards and presents that needed dispatching. All but the last half-dozen, anyway. We bought a tree yesterday—and incidentally also a unicorn, which happened because I saw some stone owls that looked like promising options to put on the brick pillar by the back door, and then Beast said, how about a unicorn, pointing to some objects that were described as 'racehorses' but which are undoubtedly unicorns. Anyway, Christmas. The pressure is off since we did our big concert; my chorus had a final singout for the year in the Forum last Thursday evening, and followed it with a somewhat chaotic dinner together upstairs at that same place. But it's the company that counts. And perhaps also, the wine? Plus my MTYG story is, I hope, at a point where it can be finished, ideally tomorrow so that I can get to pinch-hitting. Hmm. Yes, must have a little story pressure in the run-up to Christmas or it won't feel right!
