Today, I fought racism. Well, I say fought, what I mean is I stood in a crowd of people, and shouted a bit, and sang* a bit and even danced quite a bit, there being a rather awesome drum group with serious rhythm on our side of the street. There was a frankly rather pitiful collection of anti-immigration people on the other side of the street.

My Bun joined me, and also Beast after he had escorted FIL to have his flu jab.

As the Wrong People quietly began to melt away from their feeble demo, after about an hour and a half I decided we'd done our bit, and we went off for excellent fish and chips, and then looked in Jarrolds' really excellent Food department for possible Christmas things. This year, I have decided not to give anyone gin-filled chocolate frogs, but they still exist and are beautiful.

And this evening we watched 'Opening Night' on our nice big telly. It was a bit sad seeing it at Camp on such a very tiny screen, but it's a cute film. Even if the ending makes me want to rend someone limb from limb. Go JC!
